Afternoon Nap
After a particularly vigorous feeding this morning, Jane decided that she had to have an H&H bagel. It's a chilly morning, 56 degrees compared to yesterday's 79, so I strapped on the Baby-Bjorn, put Nathan in his sweater, slipped an extra pair of socks on his feet and out we went. It was very quiet on the streets. We passed only a few people, most with children, on our way from east 70th up to 81st along 2nd avenue. Although it was a little chilly, the sunlight was blinding. Nathan slept for most of the round trip. As is customary, he awoke just as we sat down to try and eat our breakfasts. We alternated passing him back and forth as we quickly devoured our morning meal, and of course his crying subsided as soon as we were finished. Since we were still two hours away from the next feeding, Jane tried to put him to bed for a quick nap, but as you can see above, sleep overcame them both. Today, we may get a visit from the newly wed Sherie Rosenberg now Sherie Monalllahdahaphama (? I'm pretty sure that's not the correct way to spell it) who was married on the day Nathan was born, and Murray and Hannah may join us for a walk in the park around 3pm or so.
