With a little forethought and cunning, my mother was able to sneak into NYC this morning, showing up at our door to a stunned Jane. Not only did she bring gifts of clothing for Nathan, but she also brought Jane the gift of time and an appointment for a deep tissue massage at Oasis Spa.

Afterward, I was able to come home and help Nathan open up a couple of presents.
