Sleep, Teeth, Swings, and Green Beans

"Pretty boy" Nathan in his outfit from Jackie and Kermit
Nathan is flying!
Lounging around....
His first time in a swing!
Nathan likes grass. The kid is happiest in grass....it is the funniest thing

Life with Nathan is so much fun. It just gets better and better every day. Whew, we made it! I am already ready for another kid, and Scott constantly reminds me that we have only had a sleeping, happy, non-stomach issue baby for three weeks. Funny how quickly you forget the difficult parts....

Nathan is on a pretty regular schedule nowadays. Up at 6:45, two to three naps a day, with baby food, milk, and activity in between. He can't really stay up more than 2-3 hours at a time and follows that pattern all day. Bedtime is between 7:30 and 8:00 and he sleeps until 4, then again until 6:45. It is so nice that he is predictable!!!!! Of course on Friday I had a mini-reunion with Ann, Carol, Sam, and Oliver and Nathan's one hour nap (that is "always" one hour) turned into 2..and I had to wake him up! But we made it and Nathan sat in his highchair and had lunch with the ladies and baby boys.

Nathan is getting his first tooth, on the bottom left. I noticed when the usual gumming of my fingers was more painful than normal. Other new things are his first swing ride this past weekend, which he loved. He doesn't quite fit in the swing but by leaning forward can stay stable enough to swing back and forth. He also tried his first green vegetable....green beans. Not so yummy by the look on his face, but he ate it anyway! We had a great weekend spending time together as a family. Scott and I even got some alone time because Nathan takes hour and a half to two hour naps these days. We didn't know what to do with ourselves!

Grandma and Grandpa Wilson come to visit this weekend and we are so excited! Nathan has grown and changed so much since they last saw him - it will be such a change for them to experience this sweet little boy. He also has his six month checkup on Friday so let's just hope he takes that in stride and it doesn't put him in a bad mood during their visit! I am sure that even more changes will have happened by the end of their visit. So cool!
