Today Nathan has had a busy day thus far. This morning he enjoyed his Baby Einstein Playmat, smiling and focusing on the lights and swinging ladybug. The morning took a turn for the worse when Nathan refused to take a nap in spite of being exhausted so he moved on to his noontime snack to prepare for his visitors, Scott's friend and former colleague Ousmane and my college roommate Lauren. The whole crew went to the local Cinema Cafe for lunch outside during a brief spot of sun, then returned home to spend more time with Lauren and say good-bye to Grandma Geri. Nathan has continued to have a bad day (we think he is personally sad that Grandma is gone) and now is taking a nap with one eye open in the den while Scott and I pray that his mood gets better for the remainder of the day. This weekend will be a fun one, with more visitors...Nathan's Great Aunt Jean and Uncle Clay and Jane's friend Sherie among them and hopefully some quality time in Central Park with Mommy and Daddy. We'll keep you posted!
